Card and payment information is collected and exchanged with trusted third parties, which operate the relevant services (e.g. Apple Wallet, Viva Wallet). Such services provide their own Privacy Policy and related operations and the relevant information is available on their websites.
Personal information is collected only if you subscribe to our Service and use the Website and/or App as a registered user, which requires consent to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

To whom do we disclose your personal information

To personalize User Experience and simplify the registration process, the Company offers Users the option to use or interact with third party services such as Facebook and Twitter. When the User connects to our Website/App through these Services, we may disclose information about the User to the relevant Service Providers and they may disclose information about the User to our Company.

When the User allows the Company access to his/her data through a third party, the Company may use this data for various purposes such as:
Automatic creation of relationships on our system, for example if the User connects via a service that contains a public list of friends such as Twitter, our Service will check the Website/App memberships to identify corresponding Users of our Service and automatically create these relationships within our system.
Relationship suggestions, for example if the User connects through a service that has a private list of contacts (such as Google and Yahoo!), our system will check the Website/App memberships to identify corresponding contacts and will suggest that you add them to your contact list. This process is not automatic and the User must select to add these Users to his/her Contact list
Creation of e-mailing lists. When Users share content by using for example the system’s “forward-to-a-friend” function, the Website/App can use third party recipient lists to create a correspondence list that the User can employ to send e-mails.
Creation of messaging lists. Similar to the e-mail list but for messaging services.
To customize the User Experience, we may use profile information on third party services, such as your profile image, popular posts, preferred articles, follower comments, etc.
Connections to third party services can be disabled at any time by modifying the relevant selections in the User’s profile.
Under any circumstances does the Company control or endorse the Privacy and Data Protection policies and practices of third party services. We strongly suggest that the User read and understand the Policies of all third party service providers.

Disclosure of Personal Information outside Cyprus and Greece

The Company may disclose personal information outside Cyprus and Greece to Yacht Clubs, Associations and/or Federations that host event that the User has registered an interest in and located in a country where the Company operate.
The Company will notify in writing any recipient outside the EU that the information is protected under applicable EU law (including GDPR) as well as the terms of use, processing, retention period and destruction of this information.

Website and use of Cookies

The Company may collect personal information when you use and access our website. We do not use browsing information to identify you personally, however we may record certain information about the use of our website, such as which pages are visited, the time and date of visit and the internet protocol address assigned to the device.

The Company may also use ‘cookies’ or similar technologies on our website that help us track website usage and remember User preferences. Cookies are small files that store information on the computer or device of the User and enable the entity that put the cookie on the device to recognize the User across different websites, services, devices and/or browsing sessions. Information Retention Period

We keep your personal information to enable the use of the company’s Services, for as long as it is required by the relevant purposes described in this Privacy Notice, as may be required by law such as for tax and accounting purposes, or as otherwise communicated to you. Personal data is securely deleted when the User subscription is terminated or the legal retention period is reached or a relevant period agreed with the User is reached (depending on the case and the relevant data).

For example, a payment services provider may be required by law to retain transaction data which can be used to identify a User for a longer period of time than the information maintained by the Company, even after the subscription is terminated.

You can access your information, including your name, mail and e-mail addresses, payment options and transaction history, profile information, membership information, settings and options, in the “My Account” menu.

Limitation of Liability

The Company may briefly or permanently, partially or in whole, discontinue, suspend or modify the operation of the Website/App, with or without prior notice. The Company and its partners make every reasonable effort in the context of regular technical checks to ensure that the Website and App services and content are provided without interruption and maintain a high level of security. However the Company is not responsible for any reason including negligence, if the Website/App is unavailable or displays performance degradation, or is inaccessible, or despite security measures, malicious software or viruses are identified and transmitted to User devices, or if non authorized parties intervene in any way on the content and operation of the system affecting its proper use, or intercept personal User data.
The Company will not be held liable for the unavailability or degraded performance of telecommunication networks provided by third parties that may have a negative effect on the proper and timely transmission and execution of transactions or use of the Website/App.
The Company is not responsible for communications between the Users and third parties including potential advertisers though the Website/App and is not liable for any damages that may occur by any commercial agreement between the third party and the User. In no event will the Company be liable for any damages including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, data, or profits, whether in action of contract, negligence or other tortious action, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website/App.
The User recognizes and agrees that all the liability limitations included in these Terms are valid and in concert with good faith and fair dealings.
Other Terms
For any disputes that may arise by the operation and use of the Website/App and if a consensus is not reached between the parties, the dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Nicosia, Cyprus. For any dispute regarding the interpretation and applicability of these Terms and Conditions as well as any other issue regarding the use of the Website/App, applicable law will be that of Cyprus, the European Union and relevant International treaties. Any provisions of these Terms and Conditions that will be found contradicting applicable laws will automatically cease to be valid and will be removed from these Terms without affecting the applicability of the other clauses.
If a provision or clause of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the rest of the Terms will not be affected.
